Job Description
Title: TN Brazing Gr 2
FLSA: Non-Exempt
General Summary:
- The coil brazer and Header Brazer are responsible for brazing coils and headers per blueprints before sending the coils to the next steps in the process.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize what work is to be performed using SAP
- Inspect the quality of the coil by checking hairpins, fins, and overall aesthetics of the coil, and cleaning off any excess oil
- Braze the coil joints and connections so that they are leak-free
- Per the print, attach headers and braze accordingly
- Ensure the quality of brazes and that all joints and connections are brazed before sending to the quality test tank to test
- Confirm out in SAP
Job Qualifications:
- Brazing or welding experience, preferred
- Detail-oriented
- Work independently
- Blueprint reading skills
- The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
- Good communication skills
Physical Requirements for the job
- Ability to move at least 50lbs
- Ability to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per day
- Wear the necessary PPE for the position
