TN Machine Operator Grade 2

General Summary:

• As a Machine operator you will be responsible for a variety of machine-specifics functions. The listed below are including but are not limited to.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Identify, confirm, and prioritize work to be performed using Infor 
• Set up machinery and perform tool changes as needed
• Ability to perform changeovers 
• Load programs/inputs into the machine control
• Operators perform daily PMs on machinery and equipment used 
• Use proper tools on the machine 
• Bunch, label, and stage parts for the next manufacturing process
• Perform and record daily preventative maintenance on machines
• Practice exceptional housekeeping
• Understand lock out, tag out 

Job Qualifications:

• Experience: Machine operator experience is required
• Forklift experience preferred (will certify in-house)
• Blueprint reading skills
• The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
• Detailed oriented
• Computer skill
• Good communication skills

Physical Requirements for the job

• Ability to move at least 50lbs
• Ability to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per day
• Wear the necessary PPE for the position
