The Information Technology (IT) Co-Op will obtain practical business knowledge while applying classroom-learned skills in a manufacturing environment. The IT Co-Op will support the IT team and facility in various areas.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing software applications.
- Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze requirements for assignments.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of software applications.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning.
- Work on assigned tasks and projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Assist in the integration of software components and third-party services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Provide support for software applications and resolve user issues.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming, or another related field.
- Prior experience working as an IT intern/co-op preferred, but not required.
- General understanding of SQL database and programming language.
- Advanced understanding and use of MS Office and other productivity tools.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
