IT Co-Op (Intern)

Summary

Position can begin any time between January and June 2026.

The Information Technology (IT) Co-Op will obtain practical business knowledge while applying classroom-learned skills in a manufacturing environment. The IT Co-Op will support the IT team and facility in various areas.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing software applications.
• Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze requirements for assignments.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation.
• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of software applications.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning.
• Work on assigned tasks and projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist in the integration of software components and third-party services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Provide support for software applications and resolve user issues.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming, or another related field.
• Prior experience working as an IT intern/co-op preferred, but not required.
• General understanding of SQL database and programming language.
• Advanced understanding and use of MS Office and other productivity tools.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
