We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT professional to join our team as a Senior IT Specialist. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ERP systems, particularly Infor M3, with the ability to bridge both technical and functional aspects of IT. This role requires strong project management capabilities, hands-on development skills, and a process-oriented mindset to optimize business operations through technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for ERP systems, with a focus on Infor M3 functionality, configuration, and technical support.
- Lead and support system integrations across applications, ensuring data consistency, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and optimize workflows.
- Manage and deliver IT/ERP-related projects from initiation through deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain custom applications, scripts, and tools using Python, JavaScript, Angular, or other modern technologies.
- Create and maintain Infor ION Dataflows and Workflows, Infor M3 MEC Mappings and extensions, H5 scripts and H5 apps.
- Write and optimize SQL queries (MSSQL, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.) for reporting, troubleshooting, and process automation.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline business processes through technology.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing clear communication, training, and support.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 5 years of experience with ERP systems (technical and functional), including Infor M3 (mandatory).
- Knowledge and experience in Infor ecosystem tools.
- Experience with Infor M3 APIs (REST/ION API) and data integration methods.
- Strong background in system integrations (APIs, middleware, data flows).
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives and deliver results on time.
- Hands-on development experience with modern programming languages/frameworks (Python, JavaScript, Angular).
- Proficiency in database languages such as MSSQL, Snowflake or other modern databases.
- Knowledge of reporting tolls (Infor Birst, Infor Analytics, Infor d/EPM)
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in M3.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a process optimization mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of Infor’s extensibility tools (M3 H5 SDK, Event Hub, Extensions, Mashups).
- Experience with EDI, data visualization, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Exposure to manufacturing or supply chain environments.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in computer science or related field required; and 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret such items as highly detailed professional, scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from both inside and outside the company. Ability to write speeches, articles or memos using original or innovative techniques or style.
QUANTITATIVE SKILLS
Ability to have an overall understanding of Content Management. Must have attention to detail with the ability to work as part of a team. Understanding good software development practices is required. Ability to work with and lead contract resources.
