What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custom Sales Design Consultant position at Precision Cabinets?
Precision Cabinets, a leading custom cabinet manufacturer, is seeking an Custom Sales Design Consultant. You will play a crucial role in driving our company’s growth by managing all aspects of a sale including sales strategy, bidding and selling, obtaining contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales and margin goals. This role will work hybrid out of our corporate office in Brentwood and our Design Center in Pleasanton, CA.
Key Objectives
- Approach each day with an entrepreneurial mindset and dedication to achieving both sales targets and personal financial goals.
- Understanding of the home building industry, construction phases, cabinetry installation processes, and materials such as wood species, laminates, and other building materials relevant to cabinetry applications.
- Cultivate new business opportunities and provide exceptional sales and design support to custom home contractors, high-end home builders, remodelers and designers.
- Promote and sell Precision Cabinet products by educating customers on styles, finishes, configurations, and applications
- Provide pricing, prepare quotes, estimate delivery and installation timelines and logistics schedules
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns related to orders, deliveries, or credits in collaboration with internal teams
- Maintain accurate customer data, document interactions and complete required administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years’ cabinet design and sales experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Cabnetware and/or Cabinet Vision highly desired
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated and results oriented
Benefits & Compensation
The company intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay range of $90,000 -$120,000. Actual offers will be based on a variety of factors, including experience. Additional Sales Commission and Quarterly Bonus plans allow for a total income of $200,000 annually. Employees will have access to paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, profit sharing and the Company's 401(k) plan.
