Our client, a growing equipment rental and temporary site services company, is seeking a Branch Manager / Outside Sales Representative to lead business development efforts while overseeing day-to-day branch and yard operations in Abilene, TX.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, developing new business, and ensuring the branch operates safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business through prospecting, cold calls, site visits, networking, and relationship building.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing and account growth.
- Conduct job walks and provide tailored rental and site service solutions.
- Oversee daily yard and branch operations, including equipment readiness, inventory, and customer service.
- Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and scheduling with operations personnel.
- Ensure safety, organization, and operational excellence throughout the facility.
- Track sales activity, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with construction, industrial, commercial, and event customers.
Qualifications
- 3 years of outside sales, branch management, or rental industry experience.
- Proven success generating new business and growing customer accounts.
- Experience in equipment rentals, site services, construction, industrial services, or related industries preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage both customer-facing sales activities and branch operations.
- Self-starter with a hunter mentality and strong sense of ownership.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
