Job Summary
As a QA/QC Engineer for Praetorian Power Protection, you will serve as the owner’s representative within a high-stakes semiconductor fabrication environment. You are the final line of defense for power infrastructure where even a millisecond of downtime can result in millions of dollars in losses.
In this field-heavy role, you will ensure that all electrical installations—performed by various contractors—meet stringent safety, quality, and design specifications. This position requires a unique blend of deep technical electrical expertise, rigorous documentation habits, and professional diplomacy.
Key Responsibilities
-
Site Inspections & Validations: Perform daily walk-throughs of the "Fab" to inspect critical electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, UPS systems, transformers, and distribution panels.
-
Third-Party Representation: Act as a neutral, professional representative for Praetorian. Interface directly with electrical contractors to identify deficiencies, manage Punch Lists, and verify successful resolutions.
-
Testing Oversight: Witness and validate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). Coordinate closely with Commissioning (Cx) teams to ensure a seamless project handoff.
-
Documentation & Compliance: Execute and manage comprehensive QA/QC checklists. Ensure all "As-Built" drawings accurately reflect site conditions and comply with NEC, NFPA 70E, and SEMI guidelines.
-
Reporting: Generate detailed daily and weekly quality reports for key stakeholders, proactively highlighting risks, schedule delays, or non-conforming work.
-
Safety Leadership: Ensure all contracted work adheres to the highest industry safety standards within a live-power environment.
