Duties

• Prepare and serve breakfast and evening meals with precision, ensuring all food safety standards are met
• Set up dining areas, including table arrangements, linens, utensils, and condiments to create an inviting atmosphere
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems, and handle guest inquiries with professionalism
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and adhering to food handling and sanitation protocols
• Assist in food preparation tasks including basic cooking, knife skills, meat cutting, and meal assembly as needed
• Support catering events or banquet setups by coordinating food delivery and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and guests via phone etiquette and guest relations skills to enhance service quality
• Manage dietary requests or special accommodations with sensitivity and adherence to food safety guidelines
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked with supplies such as utensils, napkins, condiments, and beverages throughout shifts

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess, server, or catering assistant preferred
• Kitchen experience including food preparation, cooking techniques, knife skills, and meat cutting is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cashiering and order management
• Experience working in hotels or restaurants that emphasize guest services and hospitality standards
• Banquet or catering experience that demonstrates ability to manage large groups efficiently
• Food handling certification and knowledge of food safety practices required
• Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours during breakfast and evening shifts in a fast-paced environment
