Duties
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are fresh, appealing, and properly presented
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing, plating, and garnishing dishes in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and equipment throughout your shift
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems and handle guest payments with professionalism
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous manner while providing in-person customer service
- Follow food safety management protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards
Skills
- Proven experience in fine dining or restaurant environments with a focus on food handling and customer service
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices within the food industry
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests and team members effectively
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing weights in the workplace
- Knowledge of wine service or beverage pairing is a plus for enhancing guest experience
- Experience with banquet or catering services is advantageous but not required
