What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Receiving Clerk position at PPC Flexible Packaging and Careers?
Position Summary: The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for supporting production and the customer service team. They will transport material from the warehouse to the plant. They will create/manage all shipping transactions in the ERP system and in the 3rd party portal. They will manage inventory receipts in the ERP system. They will work closely with internal teams to align customer expectations and needs with shipping. They will manage all inventory receipts and corrections coming from production. They will work closely with the shipping carriers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
Essential Accountabilities:
- Drive the company truck between warehouse and plant to deliver materials safely and efficiently.
- Accurately enters shipping/pickup information in 3rd party portal for daily shipments
- Picks and ships inventory in ERP system (EFI Radius)
- Receive return raw material rolls daily from production in ERP system and correct errors as needed
- Create inventory labels using the ERP system
- Adheres to established performance goals and provides regular feedback to plant manager regarding ways to improve efficiency or streamline processes.
- Receive finished goods daily from production in ERP system and correct errors as needed
- Assists with compiling paperwork for shipments and inventory receipts
- Maintain records of damaged/rejected deliverables
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment

Minimum Qualifications:
- Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, and experience in an ERP system.
- Forklift certified.
Required Skills:
- Valid driver's license required.
- Forklift experience is a must.
