What You’ll Do
Working under the direction of the Press Operator, you will:
- Read and interpret Run Condition Reports to understand job requirements
- Stage and prepare inks, materials, sleeves, anilox rolls, doctor blade chambers, and job documentation
- Set up and organize materials for upcoming runs to minimize downtime
- Communicate actively with the Press Operator during setups and job changes
- Load and unload materials from the press safely and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain ink viscosity to meet quality standards
- Keep ink systems, pumps, and surrounding areas clean and organized
- Clean, store, and protect sleeves, plates, and anilox rolls after use
- Track and report setup waste accurately
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the press and surrounding work area
- Report mechanical issues or concerns promptly to the Operator
- Maintain consistent, reliable attendance
