Position Overview
Powerus is seeking Hardware Engineers to support the development, integration, testing, and deployment of advanced autonomous and operational systems.
This role will focus on practical hardware development across electrical systems, power distribution, PCB integration, payload systems, and operational hardware environments.
The ideal candidate is highly hands-on and comfortable working across prototype development, testing, iteration, and manufacturing support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development of hardware systems across autonomy and operational platforms
- Assist with PCB integration, electrical systems, power management, and payload integration
- Work closely with embedded software and systems engineering teams
- Support hardware testing, troubleshooting, validation, and field deployment
- Assist with prototype development and transition into manufacturing
- Support operational and customer demonstration activities where required
- Contribute to rapid engineering iteration and product improvement cycles
Qualifications
- Experience in hardware engineering, electrical engineering, or related technical disciplines
- Experience with embedded systems, PCB integration, power systems, or operational electronics preferred
- Strong practical troubleshooting capability
- Comfortable operating in hands-on engineering environments
- Experience within aerospace, robotics, defense, or industrial technology sectors preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration capability
