Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing and transporting vehicles, providing roadside assistance, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires professionalism, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tow trucks (flatbed and/or wheel-lift) to transport vehicles
- Respond to dispatch calls in a timely and professional manner
- Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles without damage
- Provide roadside assistance such as jump starts, lockouts, tire changes, and fuel delivery (if applicable)
- Complete accurate paperwork and digital dispatch updates
- Follow all company policies, DOT regulations, and safety procedures
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned truck
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required, depending on equipment)
- Clean or acceptable driving record
- Previous towing or roadside assistance experience preferred (training available)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
