Description
The Used Equipment Coordinator will support and manage tasks critical to the management of the Used Equipment
Department. This role involves assisting with the lifecycle of used equipment, from valuation and repair decisions to
marketing and final sale. This position will also assist with inventory management of used equipment and attachments.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inspection process ensuring all trade-in equipment is accurately inspected and repaired in a timely manner
- Load and update target prices into CRM
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth processing of deals and timely invoicing
- Maintain current fleet conditions for equipment and attachments within the department
- Assist UEM with repair decisions and the tracking of completion of the used fleet
- Maintain CRM trade-in inspection process and machine inspection templates
- Verify “quick adds” in IntelliDealer as it pertains to trade in inspections
- Provide quarterly inventory audit reports to the UEM and verify their accuracy
- Deal Management:
- Assist the sales team with detailed quotations and sales proposals
- Work in conjunction with the UEM to verify trade unit details and coordinate with service on needed repairs
- Work with the Accounting Department to reconcile the clearing account
- Utilize Integrated Rental software to build “pre shippers” and assist yard coordinators with machine traffics
- Marketing:
- Identify assets and manage the certification process on Komatsu Remarketing Programs
- Provide PMC marketing material for like kind OEM dealers and support dealer network transactions
- Support online marketing efforts with updated machine pictures and pertinent information
- Administrative Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the UEM to align department strategies with overall business objectives
- Assist the UEM with forecasting and planning equipment and attachment inventory levels
- Support CRM processes and updates
- Perform other duties assigned by PMC Management
- Compliance / Safety:
- Ensure all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment
Qualifications
- Requirements:
- College degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
- 3-5 years of industry experience, with a sales and operation focused mindset
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Prompt and effective follow-up and responsiveness
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel
