Paving Laborer –Paving Company
Location: Akron, NY
We are a small, locally owned paving company based in Akron, NY, looking for a dependable and hardworking Paving Laborer to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with asphalt paving, blacktop installation, and related site work
- Rake, shovel, and spread asphalt as needed
- Set up and clean up job sites
- Assist with operating paving-related equipment (experience a plus, but not required)
- Work closely with crew members to complete jobs efficiently and safely
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday (primary schedule)
- Optional Friday work available for those who want extra hours
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Previous blacktop/asphalt experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
- Equipment operating experience is a plus, but not necessary
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to shop
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
- Drivers License required and CDL Class A or B is a plus, but not required
Pay & Benefits:
- Pay is negotiable based on experience up to $35/hr
