Powder River is seeking a Senior Computer User Support Specialist in the Alexandria, VA area to help support our customer base. A successful candidate will provide end-user support for PC and server applications as well as end user hardware. The candidate may interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems. Support responsibilities include software installation and configurations.
Requirements

Requirements
- Install and test personal computers, printers, and other peripherals, configure operating system, load shrink-wrap programs and other application software programs.
- Troubleshoot user issues.
- Contribute to process development within the functional area and where the functional area connects to other operational processes.
- Work closely with team members to solve technical problems in a timely fashion.
- Strong collaboration and teaming skills
- 2 years of IT technical support experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- CompTIA A or better
- 2 years minimum experience
- DoD IT Helpdesk experience
- VIP support experience
- Cisco Video Teleconference (VTC) experience
- Microsoft Office 365 apps experience
- ServiceNow ticketing experience
- Practical knowledge of Agile and ITIL frameworks
