Under general supervision, responsible for lifeguarding and swimming instruction on a seasonal basis primarily during summer community programs.
Requirements / Qualifications
The Summer Aquatics program will run from June to July at Mt. Carmel High School. The Opening and Closing dates will be provided as we move closer to June. PUSD Classification Salary Range: $17.38 - $22.23 per hour Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $17.38 per hour (step 1) - $20.15 per hour (step 4)
You will need to provide proof (copies) of the following current and valid certifications or proof that you are registered in a class to obtain the required certification(s): CPR/AED for Public Safety Personnel First Aid for Public Safety Personnel (Title 22) Lifeguard Training Certificate Water Safety Instructor (30-hour course and MUST BE COMPLETED and provided to us before you are cleared to start working).
