We are currently seeking a licensed Supervising Bankruptcy Attorney with preferably 3 years of relevant experience in the practice of Bankruptcy and Creditor’s Rights law. Position is located in the Rochester, Michigan office.
Tasks include but not limited to:
- Research to interpret laws, analyze statutes, rules and regulations, ordinances, court decisions, and legal opinions
- Monitor and review routine case files to ensure deadlines are maintained
- Investigate facts and legal matters to determine causes of action
- Candidate will attend bankruptcy hearings, communicate with clients, debtors, attorneys, and courts to discuss legal options
- Must have supervisor skills to manage a team of dedicated employees
- Must have experience with representing creditor clients in bankruptcy
- Preference will be given to applicants with extensive background in foreclosure and real estate litigation.
Must be motivated, organized, and be able to handle and manage litigation cases in a high volume, fast-paced environment. This position requires multistate knowledge and experience with an emphasis on Federal laws and procedures in areas of creditor rights and bankruptcy. Must be licensed in the state of Michigan.
