About the Role:

The Service Cashier plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service within the retail environment by efficiently processing transactions and ensuring a positive experience. The Service Cashier serves as the frontline representative of the dealership, fostering a welcoming atmosphere and addressing customer inquiries or concerns promptly. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Previous experience in automotive dealership or customer service role preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash registers.
• Familiarity with retail inventory and merchandising practices.
• Ability to handle difficult customer situations with professionalism and patience.
• Bilingual skills to assist a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases and inquiries.
• Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a smooth customer flow.
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts and report any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to restock parts merchandise and maintain dealership presentation.
• Adhere to all company policies, including those related to cash handling and security.
