Duties
- Monitor and care for animals overnight, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Feed, water, and administer medications as directed
- Clean and sanitize kennels, bedding, and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment
- Observe animals for signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to veterinary staff
- Handle animals gently during restraint or movement procedures
- Provide companionship and reassurance to pets staying overnight
- Maintain detailed records of animal behavior, health status, and treatments
- Assist veterinary staff with routine procedures when needed
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during animal handling and restraint
