- Assist in developing aerodynamic surfaces, configurations, and control geometries using CFD tools
- Support performance analyses for aerodynamic, propulsion, and flight efficiency studies
- Help compare CFD and analytical results to wind tunnel or flight test data
- Contribute to flight dynamics modeling and simulation for stability and control evaluation
- Prepare and refine geometry in CAD for CFD and aerodynamic analysis
- Work with engineers on design trade studies that balance aerodynamic performance and manufacturability
- Help document aerodynamic results, performance models, and testing data
- Participate in ground or flight test preparation and post-test data review
- Currently pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with CFD tools such as ANSYS Fluent, Star-CCM , or OpenFOAM
- Basic understanding of aerodynamics, aircraft performance, and stability and control
- Experience with CAD software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX
- Interest in aerodynamic optimization and performance analysis
- Ability to process and visualize simulation or flight data
- Familiarity with composite materials and their use in aircraft structures is a plus
- Motivated learner with a hands-on mindset and strong attention to detail
- Experience with student aircraft design projects, wind tunnel testing, or UAV development
- Exposure to scripting in Python or MATLAB for CFD or data automation
- Familiarity with performance or aerodynamic modeling tools such as AVL or SU2
- Basic knowledge of structural loads and stress fundamentals
- Interest in experimental aircraft, seaplanes, or high-lift configurations
