- Support the design and implementation of aircraft electrical architecture, including power generation, distribution, and protection.
- Perform electrical load analysis and sizing to ensure proper conductor selection, system efficiency, and power margins.
- Integrate avionics, sensors, actuators, and power systems into cohesive electrical networks.
- Simulate and validate electrical system behavior using SPICE or equivalent tools for circuit and transient analysis.
- Collaborate with propulsion, structures, and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Develop wiring diagrams, schematics, and integration documentation to support manufacturing and testing.
- Assist with ground and flight testing to verify system reliability and performance under real-world conditions.
- Strong background in vehicle electrical systems integration and power distribution.
- Experience performing electrical load analysis and system sizing for complex platforms.
- Proficiency with SPICE or similar circuit simulation software.
- Familiarity with aircraft power distribution systems, including bus management and redundancy strategies.
- Strong collaboration skills to align avionics and electrical design across disciplines.
- Experience working with DO-160 and DO-254 qualified components.
- Knowledge of alternators, generators, and power systems integrated with piston or turbine engines.
- Familiarity with electronic circuit breaker systems and digital power management.
- Experience using Python for simulation, testing, or data analysis.
