Role Description The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Ramsey, NJ. This position is responsible for preparing, issuing, and tracking customer invoices, applying payments, and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records. The coordinator monitors aging reports, follows up on outstanding balances, and helps resolve billing and payment discrepancies. Daily tasks include communicating with customers and internal teams, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end close activities, and supporting finance and accounting procedures to ensure timely collections and accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to review accounts, identify discrepancies, and interpret financial data.
- Hands-on experience with invoicing processes, payment application, and accounts receivable workflows.
- Foundational knowledge of finance principles and exposure to general accounting practices.
- Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting or ERP software (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks, SAP or similar).
- High level of accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Prior experience in an accounts receivable, billing, or finance support role preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is beneficial.
