What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver 40/30 (Full Year Position) - Transportation position at Portland Public Schools?
Under general supervision, the position requires that the employee will operate a full-size school bus in transporting children to and from schools, field and sports trips, and otherwise as assigned. Employees in this class are responsible for following an assigned route and schedule in the safe and efficient operation of a school bus. At all times operates a school bus obeying all applicable federal, state and local traffic laws and the enforcement of Portland Public Schools Student Bus Conduct Code. Inspects, performs minor maintenance, and cleans assigned vehicle.
