We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and safety-focused individual to join our team in a full-time warehouse role that includes local driving responsibilities. This position combines warehouse shipping and inventory duties with local driving for warehouse transfers and customer deliveries within New York State.
Schedule: Full-Time Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Driving Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles including:
- International Stake Truck (15,000 lb hauler)
- Ford Pickup Truck
- Both vehicles are equipped with flatbeds and heavy racking, which must be removed and reinstalled during loading and unloading.
- Drive on and off company property, including:
- Transfers between warehouse buildings
- Customer deliveries up to approximately 2 hours one-way
- Travel is local only, entirely within New York State (no out-of-state driving).
- Driving time varies based on workload, typically ranging from 2 to 16 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pull, pack, and stage materials for customer orders.
- Unload incoming product from suppliers
- Verify product received, count, sizes, quality to match paperwork
- Label package containers accurately
- Prepare and process packing slips and allocate inventory using computer systems.
- Complete bills of lading and coordinate outgoing freight with trucking companies.
- Safely operate forklifts and load/unload trucks.
- Perform warehouse transfers and customer deliveries as scheduled.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and maintain organized, labeled storage locations.
- Track materials accurately and follow inventory control procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment as well as company vehicles.
- Collaborate effectively with shipping, sales, and operations teams.
- Prior experience in warehouse shipping, logistics, or inventory management strongly preferred.
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Valid CDL B
- Candidates must be eligible to operate company vehicles and comply with all applicable DOT and company safety requirements.
