Third Shift Machine Attendant

Third Shift - Midnight to 8:00 AM

Work days - Monday night through Saturday Morning

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for taking finished products from the production machines and preparing for shipment to customers.

Essential Functions:

• Comply with all company and statutory safety rules and work to keep all departmental employees safe
• Assist with start-up and shut down of equipment
• Prepare pallets, set up boxes and stage near machines
• Remove products for machines conveyor
• Examine the product quality, report off quality issues to operator or setup technician
• Correctly pack products into boxes, netting or other shipping material
• Deliver pallets of products to warehouse and scan into inventory system
• Assist fellow employees with breaks and job tasks as needed

Required Education & Experience:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
• One year manufacturing experience preferred

Working Conditions:

Production Environment. May be loud, dusty and fast paced.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand majority of shift. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. . Ability to bend and twist on a regular basis. Ability to climb stairs and ladders when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
