Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to inventory management, order fulfillment, and overall logistics. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment.
Duties
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading materials.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
- Execute order picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards within the warehouse environment.
- Assist in stocking shelves and organizing products for easy access.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve efficiency.
- Participate in regular inventory audits and assist with materials handling as needed.
- Support manufacturing operations by ensuring timely delivery of materials.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems such as AS400 is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts and order pickers.
- Knowledge of mechanical operations related to warehouse equipment is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job duties.
- Experience in packaging, order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving processes is advantageous.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
