Senior Software Developer, Project Lead
Santa Clara, CA 95054 (On-site)
NOTE: Pay is open to discuss depending on candidate's overall experience and background.
As a Senior Software Developer and Technical Lead, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing core backend product. You’ll work hands-on with Python codebases, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the development of scalable, high-performance software solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and contribute to the development of backend logic engines and related systems (Python, servers, QA automation)
- Design new features and refactor code to improve product functionality and scalability
- Analyze data, resolve issues, and implement automated testing and deployment
- Work collaboratively with product management and engineering teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 8 years of relevant software development experience
- At least 4 years of hands-on Python programming experience
- Proficient with Linux environments (RedHat, Ubuntu)
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP servers, and networking concepts
- Familiarity with Docker, Grafana, or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong coding skills with focus on object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
- Understanding of software performance, scalability, and best coding practices
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
