We teach individuals excited to share their enthusiasm for food and transform them into skilled chefs. Popup Bagels originated as a backyard pickup window, aiming to share a freshly crafted bagel recipe with friends. It has evolved into multiple PopUp and permanent locations, offering always-fresh weekend pickup. Our mission is simple: crafting the finest, freshest bagels. There is no extravagance, just pure perfection: a crispy crust, a soft crumb center, an ideal size, and the perfect blend of seeds. We're proud recipients of the Brooklyn Bagelfest "Best Bagel" award for two consecutive years, and we're eager for you to experience a dozen of our delectable bagels.

YOU WILL:

• Gain exposure to different stations within the Bagel shop(s).
• Speak to current menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients with guests - making their day special as you provide them with a delicious scratch-made bagel.
• Work to support the team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Help to maintain a minimum standard “A” letter grade by following the Department of Health and PopUp Bagels food safety standards.
• Demonstrate professional maturity and strictly uphold PopUp Bagel’s anti-discrimination & anti-harassment policies.

YOU HAVE:

• No experience is necessary.
• A desire to create exceptional employee & guest experiences.
• An eye for detail and solving challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• The willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever necessary.
• A desire for growth in our restaurants.
• The ability to perform the physical requirements of the position (frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds). These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations
