Position Overview
We are seeking a Network Support Technician for a short-term, onsite contract in Cleveland, OH. This role will focus on providing remote support to sites across North America by troubleshooting network issues, resolving support tickets, and guiding onsite personnel through equipment resets and issue resolution.
This is a hands-on support role ideal for someone with strong networking fundamentals and experience working in a fast-paced support environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and resolve Level 2 network support tickets from multiple sites across North America
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and escalate when necessary
- Guide onsite personnel through equipment resets and basic troubleshooting steps
- Diagnose issues related to switches, access points, and network connectivity
- Monitor and document ticket progress, ensuring timely resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex networking issues
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work onsite in Cleveland, OH
- Strong understanding of basic networking concepts (ping, traceroute, connectivity troubleshooting)
- Experience with switch troubleshooting (logins, port status, configurations)
- Hands-on experience with Aruba networking equipment
- Experience troubleshooting Aruba Access Points (APs) and connection issues
- Strong communication skills, especially guiding non-technical users remotely
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with VeloCloud (SD-WAN)
- Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment
