Position Overview
We are looking for a Front of House Service Lead to take ownership of the customer experience and lead our front-of-house team. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership position while staying actively engaged with guests and team members.
You will be responsible for training, coaching, and setting the standard for service, while ensuring smooth daily operations across our taqueria bar, hot bar, salad bar, and made-to-order programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and coach front-of-house team members to deliver outstanding customer service
- Set the tone for a welcoming, efficient, and high-energy guest experience
- Oversee daily operations of the taqueria bar (bowls, tacos, burritos, salads)
- Ensure hot bar and salad bar are fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing
- Monitor food quality and ensure proper food safety practices, including regular temperature checks
- Lead execution of made-to-order burger and breakfast sandwich/burrito programs
- Man the line and fill in gaps as needed throughout the day
- Operate the bistro register and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across all front-of-house areas
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality (leadership experience preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for hospitality and delivering a great guest experience
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail, especially around food quality and safety
- Willingness to lead by example and work alongside the team
