Industrial Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift (7pm - 7am)
About the Role
We’re seeking a reliable and hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their maintenance career or with technical training who wants to grow in an industrial environment.
You’ll play a key role in keeping operations running safely and efficiently by performing preventive maintenance, responding to equipment issues, and collaborating with production teams.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on plant equipment
- Handle basic electrical tasks (resetting breakers, replacing fuses, motors, sensors, etc.)
- Work with industrial controls such as variable speed drives, sensors, switches, and starters
- Replace and align motors, gearboxes, belts, chains, sprockets, and pulleys
- Perform conveyor belt repairs and splicing
- Assist with pump maintenance, including disassembly/reassembly and packing replacement
- Complete lubrication schedules and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks
- Respond to maintenance calls and document work in daily logs
- Coordinate with production, shipping, and other departments to minimize downtime
- Source parts and materials as needed
- Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental procedures
- Support continuous improvement and participate in special projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or completion of a vocational/technical training program
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to work shift schedules
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with industrial controls and automation components
- Metal fabrication and/or welding experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
