Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. This role involves the installation, modification, and repair of a wide range of plumbing systems in commercial and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, modify, and repair utility, supply, and disposal systems
- Work with systems including water, sewage, gas, oil, compressed air, vacuum, and acid
- Set and connect plumbing fixtures such as water closets, heaters, hydrants, valves, and pumps
- Read and interpret blueprints to lay out plumbing systems for underground rough-in and top out phases
- Install DWV (Drain, Waste, Vent), domestic water, natural gas, and medical gas systems
- Perform soldering, brazing, threading, and Pro Press techniques
- Conduct pressure testing and leak detection
- Cut openings in structures to accommodate piping systems
- Install underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial or industrial plumbing
- Completion of a recognized plumbing apprenticeship program
- Valid state plumbing license or eligibility to sit for the Texas exam
- Experience in HVAC/mechanical systems in commercial or industrial settings
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes across jurisdictions
- Ability to read blueprints and meet project deadlines
- Detail-oriented, punctual, and thrives in fast-paced environments
- Must have a valid driver's license
