This position is responsible for the effective planning and implementation of the ADRC's transportation programs including the volunteer driver, social van and adapted mobility device programs. Coordinate and monitor assigned program activities in order to ensure effective operations and compliance with established contract standards.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Essential Duties: These duties represent the typical duties and responsibilities assigned to this position, but may not be inclusive of all tasks performed.Working with the Mobility Education and Outreach Coordinator and the Transportation Coordinator to meet the program requirements and the standards.Provide technical assistance and advice to agency personnel and others to exchange information and resolve problems.Evaluate program activities to determine progress and effectiveness.Provide proactive communication with customers about programs and services.Serve as a primary contact for the agency's Transportation Program with contracted agencies and the general public.Maintain data files on clients utilizing the programs and drivers to ensure compliance with the state contract.Recruit, train, evaluate, recognize, and motivate program volunteers.Complete necessary data entry to ensure reports to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation are accurate. Complete the necessary documents for reports.Set schedule and coordinate drivers for the Social/ Medical Van/ Bus ProgramProcess new trip requests utilizing dispatch software and resolve issues that arise.Perform related duties; attend meetings, conferences, maintain records, and prepare reports.Marginal Duties and Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities: None
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work is sedentary in nature, performed within the Government Center or satellite offices/ other campus locations. Lifting requirement is 15-20 pounds on an occasional basis. Wrist and finger manipulation due to filing, compiling, calculating, or computer work. Equipment used may include, but is not limited to computer, scanner, printer, keyboard, calculator, telephone, copy, and fax machine. Additional physical/ mental requirements that may occur may not be listed above, but are inherent in performing the position's essential functions.
