Associate Attorney – Poland & Poland Attorneys at Law
Location: Clarksville, Tennessee
Position Type: Full-Time
Poland & Poland Attorneys at Law is a busy and growing law firm seeking a motivated, professional, and client-focused Associate Attorney to join our team. We are looking for an attorney who is eager to develop their legal skills, handle a diverse caseload, and provide exceptional representation to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and handle cases from intake through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure deadlines are met.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Provide strategic legal advice and advocacy in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Tennessee (or eligible for admission).
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to client service.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:
- Family Law
- Criminal Defense
- Bankruptcy
- Personal Injury
- General Civil Litigation
