The Pokagon Band Apprenticeship Program is a 12-week program for Pokagon Band Citizens seeking to gain knowledge and experience within a department of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Government.
This is an on-site position with an hourly rate of $17 working with the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Gaming Commission.
- Scheduled work dates from August 31, 2026 – November 20, 2026
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- A background check and drug screening is required
- Applicants must include a resume with education and work history
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Gaming Commission duties & responsibilities:
Will support meeting coordination, recordkeeping, financial tracking, and communication activities that keep the Gaming Commission running efficiently. Observe and assist with regulatory compliance efforts, including inspecting casino operations, documenting findings, and ensuring adherence to gaming laws and internal controls. Participate in the licensing process by reviewing documentation and maintaining accurate, confidential records.
