The Pokagon Band Apprenticeship Program is a 12-week program for Pokagon Band Citizens seeking to gain knowledge and experience within a department of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Government. This is an on-site position with an hourly rate of $17 working with Facilities & Maintenance.
- Scheduled work August 31, 2026 – November 20, 2026
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- A background check and drug screening (including marijuana) is required
- Applicants must include a resume with education and work history
- Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and meet insurance eligibility requirements
Facilities:
Responsible for the upkeep, management, maintenance, and cleanliness of grounds and surrounding areas. This position involves physically demanding work, including regularly lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds, occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds, and pushing or pulling heavier equipment as needed. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, pass a physical, and meet insurance eligibility requirements to operate Pokagon Band vehicles.
