PMCO is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Irving TX!
Pay: $30- $35/hr
Schedule: 3rd shift. 3-2-2 7am - 7pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Diagnose electrical issues in machinery and production equipment, including motors, control systems, PLCs, and wiring.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
- Install, upgrade, and calibrate electrical and electronic components, including wiring, panels, sensors, and drives.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to perform repairs and installations accurately.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new electrical systems and equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, including repairs, replacements, and preventive activities, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and production staff to coordinate repairs and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Provide technical support during equipment installations, startups, and shutdowns.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay current with industry advancements and recommend upgrades to improve system performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Plastic experience. Thermoforming / flexible packaging would be ideal.
- Strong background in electrical controls troubleshooting.
- Experience with gas trains, burners, and fire control.
