PMCO Is Hiring an Electrical & Automation Engineer Supervisor – Near El Dorado Springs, MO
Salary: $90,000–$130,000 annually
Bonus: 15% performance bonus potential
Location: El Dorado Springs area, MO
Position Summary:
PMCO is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical & Automation Engineer Supervisor to oversee automation and control system operations within a high-performance production facility. This leadership role will focus on designing, maintaining, and optimizing electrical and automation systems to support efficient and reliable manufacturing processes.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for production automation
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical control components, including sensors and actuators
- Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance to improve system performance
- Integrate new automation solutions with existing equipment and MES platforms
- Create and manage schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation for control systems
- Ensure systems comply with safety codes and industry regulations (UL, NEC, NFPA 70E)
- Lead or support initiatives involving robotics, motion control, and IIoT
- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance teams
- Work with vendors to source parts and oversee automation projects
- Analyze system data and suggest strategies to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Option 1:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field
- 4 years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing
- 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Option 2:
- 10 years of industry experience, including 4 years in a leadership position
Additional Skills:
- 3 years in industrial controls or automation
- Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider)
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA platforms (e.g., Ignition, Wonderware, FactoryTalk)
- Familiar with industrial protocols like EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profibus
- AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred
- Knowledge of robotics, motion control, and vision systems is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and project management capabilities
