Key Duties For The Role
- Utilizing RF scanners to locate, verify, and pull plumbing parts (e.g., fittings, valves, pipes) based on customer orders.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers, verifying incoming deliveries match purchase orders, and packing finished products for shipment.
- Stocking shelves, replenishing picking locations, and recording inventory data to ensure accuracy.
- Safely operating machinery such as Raymond brand forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials, including performing pre-use inspections.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy goals
- Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, or equipment issues to supervisors
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to OSHA standards and company safety procedures
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must have experience with Raymond Stand Up Reach and Cherry Picker.
- At least 1 year of previous material handler experience in a warehouse environment.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work independently and within time constraints.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills: verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Ability to lift/move at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Outgoing, team player, and a willingness to learn.
- Solid attendance track record.
