Key Duties For The Role
- Use RF scanners (handheld guns) to locate, pick, and verify products based on customer orders
- Accurately pick plumbing parts (e.g., fittings, valves, pipes, fixtures) from warehouse locations
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy
- Pack and stage orders for shipping according to company procedures
- Replenish picking locations and assist with inventory counts as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy goals
- Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, or equipment issues to supervisors
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and OSHA standards
- High School Diploma; or equivalent.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- At least 1 year of previous order picking experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently and within time constraints.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills: verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Outgoing, team player, and a willingness to learn.
- Solid attendance track record.
