Location: Wasilla, Palmer, Houston, Big Lake, Willow, Sutton (Based out of Wasilla)
Pay: Up to $50/hr DOE Performance Bonuses

Plumbing & Heating Doctor is seeking a skilled and versatile Plumbing and Heating Technician to install, maintain, and repair plumbing and heating systems in residential and/or commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in both trades, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems (pipes, fixtures, water heaters, drainage systems) and heating systems (furnaces, boilers, etc)
- Diagnose issues in plumbing and heating systems and perform effective repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure proper system operation
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Respond to emergency service calls, including leaks, system failures, and heating outages
- Provide customers with recommendations for repairs, upgrades, or replacements
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and inventory of parts and equipment
- Collaborate with team members and other trades when necessary
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or apprenticeship preferred)
- Proven experience in plumbing and/or HVAC/heating systems
- Relevant licenses or certifications (plumbing and/or HVAC, depending on location)
- Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety procedures
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (50 lbs)
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods
Work Environment:
- Residential, commercial, and industrial job sites
- May require on-call shifts, evenings, weekends, and overtime
Compensation & Benefits:

What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of professional experience
- EPA Universal Certification (Preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge and a commitment to continuous learning
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Point of Sale and documentation experience
