Role Description
We are looking for a Veterinary Technician either Part-time or Full-time, located near McMurray, PA bust most importantly aspires to the same goals and care as the rest of our team. As a Veterinary Technician aat Pleasant Valley you have the opportunity to be responsible for providing animal care, assisting with veterinary procedures including surgery, ultrasounds, and dentals, educating clients, performing venipuncture and diagnostics as well as develop a veterinary technician career that best fits your personality and skills. As a team member at Pleasant Valley you will have the opportunity to learn beyond the basic veterinary technician skills, but have access to dive deeper into other areas of interest including but not limited to teaching, writing, business, media development, or pet behavior and training. Qualifications
- Husbandry skills
- Veterinary Technology and Anesthesiology skills
- Client Education skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician is a plus but not absolutely necessary
- Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology or a related field is preferred
