Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor to join our growing practice. This role is ideal for a clinician working toward full licensure who is looking to gain meaningful clinical experience in a supportive and flexible environment. Hours are variable based on client needs and clinician availability.
We are looking for an addition to our small team that can help us expand our practice and add their specialty in order to continue working with clients they enjoy. Self Care is mandatory!
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual counseling services via telehealth
- Conduct client assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with ethical and legal standards
- Collaborate with other providers as needed to support client care
- Manage a caseload and maintain professional communication with clients
- Adhere to all state regulations and professional guidelines for practice under a limited permit
Qualifications:
- Active Limited Permit in New York State or Limited Permit Eligible
- Master’s degree in Counseling
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision
- Comfortable providing Telehealth services
