POSITION: Cashier
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High school graduate, preferred
- Experience: Appropriate experience for position
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to: Building principals
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: School term, salaried
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
POSITION SUMMARY:
Collecting and depositing lunch money and scanning student/faculty lunch cards at lunch.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answers phone calls and questions having to do with lunch program and student account balances.
- Takes and records lunch money.
- Takes lunch tickets through lunch lines. Handwritten if the internet is down. Putting all information in when the internet is back up.
- Help head cook with production records.
- Make deposits once or twice a week.
- Keep a deposit book, and report deposit amounts to the bookkeeper.
- Make sure lunch money balances each week.
- Should be in sufficient health to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by administrator.
- I send emails or letters to parents for money due for children's milk or lunches.
- I offer to help the cooks anytime I can.
Salary : $21,100 - $26,700
