CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN MARYLAND ONLY!

• The Medical Billing Specialist files timely and complete appeals electronically, telephonically or manually in accordance with payer guidelines
  
  

Using thorough understanding of payer contracts and claims analysis the medical Billing Specialist determines why the claims were denied or underpaid and requests claims adjudication corrections

Provides supporting documentation or refers payers to reimbursement agreements for resolution of nonpayment

Billing Specialist researches and pursues reimbursement for medical claims that were denied or did not receive payments payment

The Medical Billing Specialist files timely and complete appeals electronically, telephonically or manually in accordance with payer guidelines

Using thorough understanding of payer contracts and claims analysis to determines why the claims were denied or underpaid and requests claims adjudication corrections

Provides supporting documentation or refers payers to reimbursement agreements for resolution of non-payment

Provides spreadsheet of supporting documentation of reimbursement of claims billed or in processed on a bi-weekly basis

MUST KNOW MARYLAND MEDICARE BILLING SYSTEM

MUST KNOW ICAN NOTES

MUST HAVE THREE YEARS OR MORE EXP.

MUST BE WILLING TO WORK IN OUR OFFICE TWO DAYS A WEEK
