PART TIME- THIRD SHIFT at our AFC home in LEONIDAS and PRN in our other AFC home in MENDON

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide compassionate care tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia,or other special needs including mental illness
- Support medication administration and monitor vital signs in accordance with care plans and medical protocols
- Help with meal preparation, feeding, light cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment
- Engage residents in social activities, behavioral management strategies, and memory care routines to promote mental well-being
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, home care, afc homes
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and patient care standards
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Valid driver’s license for transportation duties when necessary
- Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications such as medication administration or behavior management are a plus
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and support residents effectively
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to assist individuals with disabilities or age-related conditions
