About the Position
The Operations Admin is a newly created position that will support the day-to-day administrative needs of Players Edge Services and our leadership team. This position will be based in Oakland.
The Operations Admin will work closely with HR, payroll, recruiting, and operations leaders and support areas such as onboarding coordination, background check follow-up, document tracking, open enrollment support, and other administrative projects as assigned.

You are comfortable coordinating with multiple departments and personalities. You communicate clearly, ask good questions, and know when to escalate an issue. You are not easily rattled by detail-heavy work and can manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
You enjoy being the person who makes the operation run more smoothly. You do not need constant supervision, but you understand the importance of accountability, consistency, and being physically present as part of a collaborative office-based team.
About Us
Players Edge Services operates within California casinos and cardrooms on approved table games as a Third-Party Provider of Proposition Player Services (TPPPS). Our Gaming Associates help ensure active games, accurate financial transactions, and overall game integrity. The company employs approximately 330 employees, including a small administrative team and a large field-based workforce working in casinos and cardrooms throughout California.
Players Edge is in an important period of operational refinement and process improvement. We are strengthening internal systems, clarifying responsibilities, and building a more efficient support structure for our field operations and corporate team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle licensing administration, renewal tracking, and related recordkeeping for employees and other operational requirements.
- Assist in the automation and digitization of our processes and procedures
- Track deadlines, required documentation, expirations, and follow-up items; ensure nothing is missed or delayed.
- Provide administrative support to the COO, CFO, HR Manager, and other internal leaders on projects, reporting, and recurring operational needs.
- Assist with onboarding and termination workflow; including document tracking, background check follow-up, and administrative communication with new hires and employees as assigned.
- Provide administrative support during open enrollment and other benefits-related periods, including tracking forms, communications, and follow-up.
- Maintain organized records, logs, and files and help improve consistency in administrative processes.
- Coordinate with HR, payroll, recruiting, and operations to ensure smooth handoffs and timely completion of shared tasks.
- Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, summaries, and supporting documentation for internal use.
- Suggest administrative efficiencies and practical improvements to improve workflow.
- Handle other operational and administrative duties assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
This is an hourly, non-exempt position with a range of $28 to $32 per hour. This is a full-time position based in our Oakland office and also requires a successful background check.

Qualifications:Relevant Education and/or Experience
- 2 years of Human Resource administration, operations administration, compliance coordination, or similar experience.
- A strong understanding of and familiarity with technology as it pertains to the needs of a medium-sized business.
- Strong organizational skills and a consistent track record of managing deadlines, documentation, and follow-up.
- Experience and expertise working with spreadsheets, HRIS systems, or other administrative databases and tracking tools.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting HR, payroll, benefits, or onboarding processes is helpful, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree is helpful but not required; relevant experience and demonstrated reliability matter most.
Salary : $28 - $32
