This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounts Payable Accountant based in Nashville, TN. The Accounts Payable Accountant will manage and process payments to vendors, reconcile accounts payable transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and verify invoices. Additional responsibilities include providing support during audits, resolving invoice discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, invoice management, and payment reconciliation
- Proficient in financial software systems, general ledger accounting, and basic bookkeeping principles
- Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and excellent organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to resolve discrepancies effectively
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience working in accounts payable or a similar accounting role (preferred)
- Proficiency with spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel
