JOB SUMMARY:
The Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the Bank's Compliance Management Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervise Compliance Department staff.
- Serve as CRA Officer, and HMDA Officer for all banks, and direct staff accordingly to ensure compliance with these regulations.
- Maintain compliance policy library.
- Review operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide compliance training to associates as needed.
- Answer associate inquiries related to compliance, including review of all bank advertising materials.
- Perform compliance monitoring for various regulations; preparing reports of results; and performing follow-up on violations and exceptions.
- Perform an annual risk assessment of regulatory requirements.
- Chair monthly Compliance Committee meetings.
- Prepare reports for the board of directors and senior management as requested.
- Report, as necessary, to the board of directors and senior management regarding significant activities and developments in the area of regulatory compliance.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:
- Three to five years’ experience in banking with a working knowledge of compliance.
- Undergraduate degree in finance, business, or related field. Additional professional education at a compliance school preferred.
- Ability to travel to Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado locations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated strength in decision making, dependability, independence, organization, problem solving, and time management.
- Professional appearance.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook.
- Able to work with and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Physical Requirements:
Light Work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
